Many of my friends has Virus in their USB drives. The Virus will cause they can't open the drive direct but only can type the drive letter to open. Here is the Windows Batch Script I wrote to kill this sticky virus, REMEMBER to change the drive letter (In my case, it was G: Drive, so change all G: to fit yours)......
Create a text File with extension name .BAT which is a executable batch script in Windows. For exmaple, I create a file called Kill_AutoRun.bat in the file, copy and past all the code below:
Again, change the drive letter G: if your USB drive is not assigned as G: Then save the file and double click on it to run. It should kill the possible virus. Comments (8)

Good job!
fac you all

I have a major problem. Yesterday, I was using my 4GB Verbatim flash stick perfectly. I had nearly 3.5GB of information stored on the stick - from the last 2-3 months.
I recently scanned my USB flash stick , using, Mcafee VirusScan Enterprise ver. 8.7i and it picked up the following in its log
D:RESTORES-1-5-21-1482476501-1644491937-682003330-1013dark.exe W32/Sdbot.worm.gen.ax (Virus)
Now when I plug in my USB flash stick into any computer, it comes up with error
“…USB attached to the computer has malfunctioned….” and now I can’t see the contents of my USB at all - as it’s not visible in My Computer on any computer.
Has my USB crashed as a result of this worm, OR is the very important information retrievable?
Please help.
Regards
Deon
